FAQ

Lettrage & Wrap

  • Vehicle wraps are an affordable and impactful way to showcase your brand while protecting your vehicle's paint. Think of them as a mobile billboard that works for you 24/7 , with a minimal investment. Not only do wraps increase your visibility on the road, but they also protect your car from UV rays, dirt, and minor scratches. They're easy to maintain, and when you're ready for a change, they can be removed without damaging the paint. Wraps are quick to install, and you can be back on the road in no time, making them the perfect solution for a bold look or a smart advertising move.

  • We stand behind our work! That's why we offer a 2-year warranty on all our film installations. This includes installation, fading, and delamination. Whether it's a commercial wrap or a custom design, you can drive with confidence, knowing your film is protected against defects. We've got you covered, so your vehicle always looks its best.

  • A vinyl wrap typically lasts between 5 and 7 years, depending on factors such as vinyl quality, maintenance, and exposure to the elements. With proper care, your wrap can stay vibrant and in excellent condition for years, protecting your vehicle's paint and maintaining your brand's visibility.

  • No, a vinyl wrap will not damage your vehicle's paint when removed, provided it is done correctly. When the wrap is professionally removed, it comes off cleanly without leaving any adhesive residue or damaging the underlying paint. In fact, it can even help preserve the paint by protecting it from UV rays and outdoor elements.

  • Installation time varies depending on the design, vehicle, size, and type of wrap. For something simple like lettering, it can take only a few hours. Larger vehicles like cube trucks can require a full day, while a full wrap could take between 2 and 4 days. Ultimately, the timeframe depends on the specific details of each project.

  • Like installation time, the cost of a wrap depends on the scope of the project. Simple lettering can cost a few hundred dollars, while a complete wrap can reach several thousand dollars. The final price depends on several factors, such as the type of vehicle, the complexity of the design, the size of the wrap, and the materials used. No matter your needs, we will work with you to find a solution that meets both your budget and your vision.

  • At 360 Autowrap, we pride ourselves on using only premium vinyls from trusted brands like Avery Dennison and 3M. We don't offer cheaper, lower-quality alternatives, as the difference is clearly visible in the installation, durability, and finish. While economical options exist, we don't offer or recommend them. Our priority is to deliver top-notch results that stand the test of time. Why settle for less for your vehicle?

  • Wrapping your vehicle yourself may seem like a good way to save money, but it's a risky bet that could cost you more in the long run. A poorly applied wrap can result in bubbles, peeling, or even damage to your vehicle's paint, which can eat up your time and your budget.

You want your wrap to be flawless and durable, right? Skip the hassle of DIY and leave the job to the pros! Wrapping requires precision, expertise, and high-quality materials to be perfectly executed. Trust us, hiring experts is the best way to ensure eye-catching, long-lasting results.

  • Hand washing is the best way to keep your wrap fresh and vibrant. Harsh tools like scrapers or abrasive brushes can scratch or damage the surface, while pressure washing and harsh chemicals can cause peeling or discoloration over time. Opt for soft cloths, gentle cleaners, and a little elbow grease to maintain a pristine finish. Take care of your wrap, and it will reward you with a long-lasting look that will turn heads!

  • Vehicle wraps can help hide surface rust to some extent, but they are not a permanent solution. Wrapping a rusty area may provide a temporary aesthetic improvement, but it will not stop the rust from progressing. It is best to address rust issues before applying a wrap to ensure a clean and long-lasting result. If the rust is too advanced, the area may not be suitable for wrapping. For best results and long-term satisfaction, address the rust spots first; your vehicle (and your wrap) will thank you!

  • Of course! We wrap vehicles year-round, regardless of the weather. Thanks to our cold weather policy, we can perform installations even when it's cold outside. We ask that you receive your vehicle the day before installation so we can wash it and store it in a heated garage overnight. After applying the wrap, we use heat lamps to ensure the vinyl adheres properly. If the temperatures are particularly cold, we will keep the vehicle overnight to ensure everything adheres perfectly. No matter the season, we have your wrap under control!

Pare-pierre (PPF)

  • A stone protection film, also known as PPF, helps protect the paintwork from environmental factors, particularly scratches, stone chips, and everyday wear and tear. The topcoat is self-healing and particularly stain-resistant. It not only protects the vehicle but also keeps it in excellent condition.

  • At 360 AutoWrap , we guarantee the durability of our work, which is why we offer an industry-leading 10-year warranty on our stone guard film. This warranty covers yellowing, peeling, and cracking, ensuring your vehicle remains protected and pristine for years to come. Drive with peace of mind, knowing your investment is in the best hands!

  • We do not recommend this practice, as it may result in poor adhesion to the vehicle's surface. It is recommended that the ceramic coating be removed by a professional.

  • You can wax the PPF, but make sure the product you use does not contain naphtha or kerosene in concentrations greater than 5%, and avoid waxes containing dyes. For best results, we recommend using our XPEL Flawless Finish Paint Protection Film Sealant or XPEL Ceramic Boost . This product has been specially formulated for use with polyurethane paint protection films to provide maximum protection and shine, while containing no ingredients that may cause discoloration over time.

  • Yes, but wait at least 48 hours after installation to allow the film to dry completely.

  • The edges of the stone guard are visible from certain angles, but people usually don't notice them unless they're looking for them. However, if the car is dirty and dust and dirt accumulate along the edge of the film, they will be more visible. Once the car is cleaned, it's difficult to notice them unless you're looking for them.

  • Installation time varies depending on your vehicle and coverage level. On average, it takes 1 to 3 days to ensure precise and flawless application for optimal protection.

  • The self-healing clear coat of the films is designed to repair itself from swirl marks and light scratches caused by car washes, etc. If debris has penetrated all the way through the clear coat of the film, it will not repair itself. The only way to remedy this problem is to replace the piece of film.

  • Be sure to use a steamer or heat gun to soften and reheat the adhesive. This will give you the best results and leave little to no adhesive behind. Any residue can be removed with a commercially available adhesive remover that is safe for automotive paint.

  • Of course! We wrap vehicles year-round, regardless of the weather. Thanks to our cold weather policy, we can perform installations even when it's cold outside. We ask that you receive your vehicle the day before installation so we can wash it and store it in a heated garage overnight. If the temperatures are particularly cold, we will keep the vehicle an extra night to ensure everything is perfectly sealed. No matter the season, we have your rock guard under control!

Impression grand format

  • Bleed is essential in print files to ensure your design extends to the edge. Without bleed, unwanted white margins could appear due to slight shifting during printing. By extending the design beyond the cut line, bleed ensures that any slight shifting during cutting doesn't leave unwanted borders, resulting in a clean and professional result.
